Meet the Team

Nichole Kang- Program Director

Dr. Kang is the Program Director of Family Services. Dr. Kang has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Life-Span Developmental Psychology from West Virginia University. Prior to joining the Health Promotion Council in 2012, Dr. Kang worked for another PHMC affiliate, Resources for Children’s Health, where she managed the previously named Focus on Fathers program and conducted direct parenting education services for fathers in Philadelphia. She is also a PA Keys certified instructor and has facilitated hundreds of professional development presentations at child care agencies in the Philadelphia metro area. For TACHP, Dr. Kang manages the advisory committee and contracts, oversees program and partner deliverables, fiscal matters (e.g., invoicing), and accountability.

LaMia Bryant- Assistant Program Director

Ms. Bryant is Health Promotion Council’s Assistant Director for Family Services. She received her Master’s in Public Health and Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and brings a wealth of experience in family-centered care, domestic violence crisis intervention and program development. Ms. Bryant has experience supervising professionals coordinating care between clients and community organizations and health systems to aid in bridging communication for families with CYSHCN. Ms. Bryant serves as program manager for TACHP and is responsible for administrative oversight, supervision of staff, monitoring deliverables, and reporting. 

Missy Modesti - Program Manager

Missy is the Program Manager for the Technology Assisted Children’s Home Program (TACHP). She earned her BSW from Cabrini College and her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. Missy joined the TACHP team having over 13 years’ experience providing direct clinical social work services to families raising children with special needs, as well as program management. Missy’s passion and expertise embody partnering with families to successfully navigate through complicated systems while enhancing parent empowerment, involvement, and self-advocacy skills. In addition to managing the TACHP program, Missy conducts all initial intakes and provides direct case management for the most complex and at-risk cases.

Waleska Quinones - Bilingual Social Work Navigator

Waleska is the Bilingual Social Work Case Navigator for TACHP. She received her Bachelors in Business Administration at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.  Upon moving to Philadelphia, Ms. Quinones also obtained her Master’s of Arts in Education, with a focus in early intervention, from Arcadia University. She has worked within the administrative field for 15 years. In addition, she has worked with the School District of Philadelphia for several years, and one year in NJ school district. Ms. Quinones has gained a lot of experience and knowledge working with immigrant and refugee populations as a Case Navigator. She manages the cases of primarily Spanish- speaking families and clients and provides joint case consultation, when necessary.

Natalie Green-Parent/Social Work Navigator

Natalie is the Parent/Social Work Navigator for TACHP. She received a Management Degree from ICM School of Business of Pittsburgh, PA and a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) degree from Harrisburg Area Community College of Lancaster, PA. Natalie has worked over 25+ years in the nursing field. Her experience ranges from pediatric to geriatric specialty care. In addition to being a part of TACHP’s team, Natalie is a nursing supervisor for personal care and memory support unit. As a Parent Navigator, Natalie will continue aiding parents who have children with special healthcare needs navigate the healthcare system and resources and supports for families in the central Pennsylvania region.
